Hello! It’s been a while… Sorry for the absence and lack of blog posts this last two weeks. January turned out to be a lot busier than expected on the outside of my little blogging world which meant I unfortunately had to take a step back from the laptop, but I’m definitely back now!
I thought I’d kick off this month with a skincare haul, I’ve realised that I didn’t have a set skincare routine in place and my old one had just gone out of the window. So I took myself into boots and picked up a few things which I’m hoping will kick my skin into gear and clear it up.
La Roche-Posay Serozinc | £8.50
The very first thing I picked up and knew that I wanted to pick up was the La Roche-Posay Serozinc toner. Suitable for oily, blemish prone skin. A few friends have recommended this and after seeing the pretty blue bottle featured in some of my favourite YouTuber videos and blog posts I just had to give it a try.
Tea Tree Witch Hazel facial mask with active charcoal |3.59
I then picked up this mask. It claims to detoxify the skin, draw dirt, sebum and impurities from pores and also rebalance oil to leave your skin clean and purified. I’ve been on a search for a face mask that can draw all the dirt out of my pores so I’ll definitely give anything a go.
Boots Botanics Micellar 3 in 1 cleansing solution | £4.49
I saw the Boots botanics range and noticed the micellar water, if you know me then you’ll know I love using micellar water to remove my makeup. This one was from their all bright collection.
From the same range I also went for the Purifying face scrub. | £3.99
Second to last I purchased two different face washes:
Boots Skin Clear daily face wash | £2.99
I picked this up face wash because I thought at that price it would be a cheap backup, it claims to unclogs pores, reduce excess oil and is gentle enough for every day use.
Soap and Glory Vitamin C Facial Wash | £8.00.
Keep your eyes peeled as a first impressions post will be coming up on the Vitamin C Facial wash along with first impressions of other products mentioned in this blog post.
I’m hoping that this small skincare haul will kick off my new skincare routine but I’m still on a search for the perfect skin care routine and when I do I’ll be letting you all know about it.
What do you guys recommend for oily/acne prone skin?
Lots of Love,
