When I first found out that KVD products were coming to the UK I was sooooo excited, but then remembered that I was on a pretty strict makeup-spending ban… Never the less, my time came and I finally got my hands on a product.
I decided to go for the Shade & Light Eyeshadow Quad in Rust after seeing somebody swatch it and feeling a little overwhelmed at how amazing it looked (lol, you know the feeling if you have a very soft spot for makeup like I do!) her other palettes look amazing but the shades are very similar to multiple palettes I already own, I had to limit myself somewhere.
If you’ve been reading my blog for a long time you’ll already know I love using orange toned shadows so this quad is literally my ideal go-to little palette since it includes all the shades I tend to reach for… including that orange tone!
Anyway, lets get onto the platte.
The palette idea is that its a ‘shade & light contour quad‘ designed to transform your eyes through the art of colour contouring.
The four shades are made up by: base, define, contour, highlight.
all over the lid to the brow bone
in the inner lid and brow bone
sweep in the outer crease of your eye blended towards your temples
pat along upper and lower lash line
The swatches are absolutely incredible and my first impressions is that I love this. It’s definitely going to be handy when I’m packing my makeup for nights away and I don’t have to pack my huge makeup palettes. This one will fit in the side of my makeup bag and covers every shade I like to use for my eyes.
Get ready with me/Face of the day will be coming up soon so you can see exactly how it looks and works on the eyes.
