If you know me and my blog, you’ll know I’ve always found it hard to stick to a skincare routine… This product however has changed me and my everyday laziness.

I find products, I like them, I use them everyday for a few weeks and then one day I think “I’ll miss it today” and then the next day, and the day after that. Then it gets put away and I never touch it again.

This micellar gel wash has made cleansing my face twice a day, every day so much easier than I could have ever imagined. It’s marketed as an all in one gel that cleanses, soothes and removes makeup. I’ll admit I have used it to remove makeup once or twice but I prefer going in with a cleansing balm or wipes first (depending how I feel) and use this gel as a second step. During the week when I don’t wear makeup I use this every morning before work to wash my face and every night before bed. On days that I do wear makeup, such as weekends; I’ll use this wash in the morning and then apply makeup and on the evening remove my makeup using other products and finish my routine using this gel wash, it always gets that last bit of makeup left on my skin off too!

It leaves my skin feeling really clean and fresh. It’s a cheap product that can be used to solely wash your face rather than removing makeup or as a makeup remover in itself. Totally up to you!

To use the product I simply wet my face, press two pumps into the palm of my hands and rub it into my skin until it foams up. I then finish by rinsing it off with warm water and I’m all done! Easy as that.

I would say that this cleanser is definitely one of the best high street face washes out there. Its such a light product and can be used on any skin type, and like I mentioned above the price is so cheap making it a super affordable product.

I’d like to think that this gel wash is going to be my everyday face wash for quite a long time. The pump packaging makes it so much easier and simpler to use in a morning when your half a sleep, rather than trying to shake the product out of the bottom of a bottle. It won’t stop me from trying others out, especially ones that work better on a day that I’ve worn heavier makeup but I think that this product will always be the last step in my routine no matter what other cleansers I use.

If you’re on the look out for a new face wash that can also remove makeup I’d highly recommend trying this one out!

You can purchase the gel wash in most large supermarkets, BOOTS or SuperDrug and retails between £2.66 and £3.99 (due to offers!)

Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried this gel wash yet? If not I would love to know what your current favourite is!

Lots of Love, Debra-Bow xxx

I bought this recently, but haven’t really used it yet. I’m really bad at using up my products too! I really like the micellar water though, so I’m hoping I get on with the gel wash just as much.

I didn’t realise they did a wash now – I love the normal micellar waters for removing makeup

  • I’d love to try this. I love garnier products so this is definitely something I would try

I need to try this! Xx

I have such sensitive skin and so I tend to use Simple products, but this does sound amazing!

I’ve never tried this cleansing gel wash, but used to love using their micellar cleansing water. But after Garnier’s ridiculously uninclusive international women’s day campaign I don’t think I’ll be buying into their brand anymore, which is a shame as their products work really well 😔

I really need to try this it sounds fab and its so affordable!

  • Alisha Valerie.

I’ve heard great things about this product, but sadly as Garnier isn’t cruelty-free I won’t be trying it. Hopefully another brand will bring out a cruelty-free version soon. 🌸💗✨

Really want to try this sounds so good

  • I have combination skin so I bought the combination version of this but unfortunately it really dried out my skin. So I’ve been using it to remove my eye make-up and to clean the brush I use for my eyebrows each morning. I really do love the micellar water though so I might buy the normal version and see if that will work any better on my skin. Loved the review Debra!

  • I have recently tried the Garnier Micellar Water and I wasn’t actually that impressed with it, it did a good job of removing my makeup but I found it so so drying, I had to slather myself with so much more moisturiser than I’d usually use to get rid of the tight feeling! This gel wash sounds a lot better, I’d be much more tempted to invest in a bottle of this, it certainly is super affordable! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I have seen this in Boots and been tempted but really trying not to buy anything else (I already caved after your babydoll mascara review!!) I love the micellar water so think I will need to try this now xxxxx

  • I’ve come accross this product so many times in town and still haven’t picked it up! After your review I might have to give it a go. x

i absolutely love this products, its so quick and easy to use xxx

  • Sian…

I’ve never got on with gel washes; I’ve always found them to be too harsh on my skin! Like you, I double cleanse, sometimes triple cleanse! Garnier do great skincare though, never seems to irritate the skin!

I didn’t know this existed! I love the rest of the range so I’ll have to try the gel too!

  • I love the Micellar water and almost picked this up the other day. I don’t know whether I would like this for the fact I would have to wash my face with water as well, and I am super lazy with taking off my make-up! Oops!

    Great review

  • I really want to try this out because the Micellar water is a staple in my beauty stash. It’s such a reasonable price too, and I LOVE that you get a pump on the cleanser.
