If you don’t keep up with my social media then you won’t have known that Izzy (from www.ADoseOfChatter.com) and I recently took a trip to Portugal!
We were extremely lucky that we had accommodation in one of the most beautiful golf resorts in the country kindly provided by Izzy’s very generous grandparents. We spent the whole week relaxing, eating and seeing some beautiful places.
My aim for this post is to show you a collection of photographs we took whilst on our trip and perhaps in the future I’ll do a more in depth post if anybody is interested however I did vlog the whole trip, so you can watch it on my Youtube channel HERE.
I worked sooooooo hard on this video so I’d absolutely love it if you went over and watched the whole thing. I vlogged and edited every single day so I’d like to think that a lot of thought and effort went into it so hearing what you think means a lot.
One of the first places we visited during the holiday was Nossa Senhora Da Rocha, a beautiful little village with a chapel on the edge of a rock formation. We didn’t find out until a few days later during a trip with AlgarExperience but the chapel was actually built by the wives of the fishermen many moons ago. They built it so they had a place to go and pray for their safety when they went out to sea, quite a story! We spent a good few hours here, firstly eating at a restaurant and then taking photographs and capturing footage by the chapel.
After this lovely day we spent a few days going out for food, exploring the village we were staying in and visiting as many beaches as possible!
On one of our more lazy days we spent the afternoon out on one of the paddle boats followed by an evening walk out to another beach which had a lovely beach bar and restaurant that overlooked the whole beach.
A short walk from our apartment were some lemon, grapefruit and orange trees so Izzy lead the way whilst taking hundreds more photos along the walk (so many beautiful houses too!).
Coming to the end of the holiday we decided to visit a wonderful italian restaurant, the food was absolutely unreal! I like to think that I managed to do my makeup that extra bit special for this meal but I’ll let you decide!
The last day before we flew home we spent the day out at sea with AlgarExperience where we were kindly gifted two trips by the team to blog and vlog about! If you’d like to read the blog post you can click HERE and to watch the video click HERE.
We then travelled home which we definitely didn’t want to do after the most relaxing fun 10 days together (I didn’t get bored of this girl once!) and here I am now, writing about a holiday whilst its raining outside. Typical England!
Luckily enough we’re both travelling to Brussels in just under a months time so I’m sure we will both have plenty of exciting content to share then too!
Lots of Love, Debra-Bow xxx
