A YEAR ON: Friction Free Shaving – The Subscription Box YOU NEED! (DISCOUNT CODE)

This post has been such a long time coming. If you’ve stuck with me on my blog since the beginning, or at least, since a year ago; you’ll hopefully remember that I did a blog post for Friction Free Shaving, a subscription razor that arrives on your door step every month.

I’ve had so many other ideas that I’ve wanted to write about featuring this brand since I did my a blog post reviewing their razor last July but never got round to it… So since its now been around a year since I reviewed, and started using FFS razors I thought I would give you an update, a year on.

I’d also like to mention that my original post is my most viewed blog post EVER, can you believe it? I never thought whilst writing out that blog post that it would become my most popular post. I’ve come a long way since publishing it with my writing, my photography and my knowledge on this blogging industry. Since it is such a big part of my blog though I have updated the images. If you’d like to know more about how it works it’s all covered in that, you can read it HERE. A YEAR ON, lets have a chat.

I really don’t want to go too much into it in this post because like I said above, I’ve already done a blog post for Friction Free Shaving, however – FFS (Friction Free Shaving, or FFS  – also something you might say if you cut yourself using a no name brand razor) is a delivery service offering a number of razors sent right to your doorstep, with fresh razor blades sent to you every month, or bi-monthly if you don’t shave as often. Friction Free Shaving encourage you to change your razor blades once a week, usually on a Sunday so you can get into the routine of doing it (they also send you weekly reminders) as blades build up bacteria which cause irritation and rashes. So girls, and boys – if you haven’t changed your razor or blade in anything longer than a week or two, it needs to go in the bin. This is exactly why using a subscription service has worked out soooooooo well for me.

Not only do I change my razor blades every 7-14 days, I don’t have to leave my house to go out and buy them. It’s easily forgotten whilst doing the food shop and its quite delightful coming home after a stressful day at work to see the brand new blades with the rest of my post; all ready for my pamper night ahead. It’s worked out cheaper as well, since FFS is so affordable and only costs £5 or £8 per month (depending which razor option you go for, and if you choose to go bi-monthly, which means you’d only pay this when your time comes to receive it). Theres no other hidden cost and delivery is free.

If you are yet to try out Friction Free Shaving you can sign up using my code CJ7UED or click THIS REFERRAL LINK for 30% off your first order. You can cancel and pause at any time.

YES! Omg, yes. I take this razor wth me every time I go away from home, I use it almost every day in the shower and I still talk about it to friends every time they mention shaving. I tend to shave 1-2 times a week, depending on plans and all ya’ know. So I try and change my razor blade weekly, if I haven’t used it as much that one week then I usually change it mid way throughout the second week. I actually get EXCITED to change my razor, because I have absolutely no doubt that every time I use this razor it won’t be pulling on my delicate skin because it’s been used too much (girls, this is happening with your disposable razors that you haven’t changed for weeks – trust me, I know you’re doing it because I used to be that girl too!) and I’m ALWAYS left with silky smooth skin with FFS.

Since I wrote about FFS in my first post, they’ve launched a Shave Cream, which I also use! It’s not the typical shaving cream you imagine, where it foams up and you can see perfectly where you have and haven’t shaved yet. “It’s packed with moisturising Manuka honey, Shea butter and coconut oil, our shave cream gives your skin the treatment it deserves. Its unique ‘cationic’ formula reduces friction so you get a closer shave and smoother skin. The transparent application provides maximum visibility and offers a new sense of control and closeness.” – I absolutely love using this shaving cream opposed to the high street ones!

So yes, the answer is: I do still use Friction Free Shaving, and I LOVE IT. I will NEVER voluntary go out and buy a high street razor ever again.

Please trust my word when I tell you that this is the razor you NEED. You can try out FFS with 30% off your first order with the code: CJ7UED or THIS LINK and cancel whenever you want if you find that its not for you.

Let me know in the comments if you’ve already tried FFS or intend to!

Lots of love, Debra-Bow xxx

*I chose to write this post off my own back with absolutely no influence by anybody, or the brand. I was gifted the razor for my initial post in July 2016 but this post is not in collaboration or sponsored by Friction Free Shaving. My discount codes entitles me to £2 credit for future purchases with Friction Free Shaving and I do not gain from it it in any other way.
