    Primark: NUDES PALETTE (Swatches)

Ahhh, Primark. The gift that keeps on giving! If you’ve seen a few of my previous posts featuring Primark makeup you’ll know that they are absolutely killing it. Whether its ‘good‘ or not, they’re still putting the effort in. So you can imagine how excited I was when I came across an Urban Decay Naked dupe in my local store, not only did they have the ‘Nudes‘ version but they also had a smoky one too, talk about taking inspiration!I thought that for the small amount of 400 British pennies (£4.00 if you really can’t work that out) I wouldn’t be losing much if the palette turned out rubbish, which at four quid, I wasn’t really expecting a lot anyway, I must admit, I didn’t think some of the shades would have much pigment whatsoever but I was quite surprised when I finally got round to swatching the palette. The eyeshadows don’t have their own individual shade names printed on them like other palettes do, but once again – for a few pound you can’t expect the world. I can’t remember if it did come with a piece of plastic on top with names but either way, something that didn’t bother me and wouldn’t make a difference on my opinion. The packaging all together is quite thin and is roughly the length of my forearm.  It is made out of cardboard like material but the appearance of it is cute, something I’d definitely sway towards (probably why I chose this and not the other one!). What mattered to me the most was the shadows and how pigmented they would be for the small price.  The first few swatches I did were the shimmer shades, they all swatched incredibly well – took me by surprise completely! The matte shades however were a little bit patchy but the pigment was DEFINITELY there. You can see for yourself how each shade swatches but my favourite has to be the third pink in from the left!

If you’re new in makeup or know somebody thats recently taken interest, this palette is just right to practice with and get the hand of working with eyeshadows. My little sister in law has this and uses it everyday, she’s 12!

It’s not a palette I would reach for on a daily basis because I know I have so many others quality wise that overpower it any day, but for those shimmers; its staying in my collection!

Whats your favourite item from the Primark beauty range?

    Lots of Love, Debra-Bow xxx
