I’m a big fan of SuperDrug’s own brand products, especially their Vitamin E range; soon enough I’ll have reviewed every product within the collection, thats my aim anyway. Dependant of when this goes up you may have already read a number of reviews I’ve already posted; if not there’s already one or two up and definitely plenty to come too!
The Vitamin E leave on, overnight moisture mask is a “serum like gel” that is designed to replenish and rehydrate your skin, showing results within 10 minutes; leaving it feeling soft and supple. The mask itself is full of naturally sourced Vitamin E, a “powerful antioxidant that will help shield your skin against environmental damage and premature skin ageing“.
I picked this up on a 3 for 2 offer whilst shopping a few other products within the same collection, whilst doing so I forgot all about it sat in my skincare draw until one night my skin was screaming out for some moisture and after asking around what the best product to use was to help my dry cheeks I was recommended this very mask. Of course I already owned it so I managed to dig it out and finally try it and since then its changed the game. The consistency is very jelly-like, a formula I haven’t used in any kind of product before but I managed to work it quite well. I can also tell you that a little bit of this definitely goes a very long way.You know me, I have oily skin. I very rarely, EVER get dry skin. For a number of reasons my skin has felt dull and dry recently but after using this mask its brought my skin back to its usual self.
It’s as simple as it sounds, I applied this mask on both of my cheek areas on my face after suffering a lot of dry skin (most of my troubled areas was on one side of my face though) and went sleep. When I woke up the next morning my dry skin was completely clear and my skin went back to how it usually is the next day. Since I rarely ever have to tackle dry skin I never see the instant results of using a facial moisturiser even though I do use one almost every day, since using this mask and seeing the difference it made to my skin its reminded me to take care of hydrating my skin more often; just because it doesn’t look visibly dry every day doesn’t mean your skin needs the hydration!
I’ve since started using this mask on a regular basis, coating the whole of my face in it around 2-3 times a week and leaving it on overnight to work its magic. In between I use a daily moisturiser and this routine has kept my skin looking and feeling healthy.
As always, I try to keep my skincare cost low but always remember that your skin shouldn’t come with a budget; you only get one chance, HOWEVER… This mask costs only £2.99 in SuperDrug but theres often offers available both online and in store if you would ever like to pick anything else up too. Hardly breaking the bank, and works a treat!Hopefully I’ll never have to worry about dry skin again in the future using this in my routine since its something I’ve never had to deal with in my whole twenty-one years; but I’m still open to trying and looking into new products, so I’d love to know what your holy grail dry skin products are in the comments below!

Lots of Love, Debra-Bow xxx
