Kiss | WEARING FAUX MINK FALSE LASHES*

We all have something that instantly makes us feel much better when we put it on… a cardigan, a pair of shoes, a certain lipstick maybe? For me, it’s false eyelashes… They can turn your makeup from 10 to 100 and make you feel so much more better about the finished look; and thats exactly why I’m always on an everlasting search for the perfect pair of false eyelashes.

KISS beauty very kindly sent me a few pairs of their stunning brand new FAUX (I repeat, f a u x) mink eyelashes; they’ve been designed to transcend everyday beauty with their ‘sumptuously soft‘ lashes, that come in a handful of different styles and designs. I know what you’re thinking, ‘but why faux mink?’.

If you’ve ever seen a pair of real mink eyelashes online or in person you’ll know that they usually look very luxurious and come at quite a high price tag… and that they’re made from real mink hairs; if you couldn’t already tell by the clear explanation. KISS have designed these lashes for you to make the “smart humane choice” by choosing these beautiful cruelty free, FAUX mink (to mimic the style of real mink) lashes that add multiple lengths, curls and angles to your own lashes.

I’ve been wearing these for around six months now and I ALWAYS reach for these (if you look at my recent photos across my Instagram and other social media, these are what I’m always wearing). Not only do they finish my makeup looks and make me feel 10 times better than what I usually feel about myself with these on but they are made from top-quality ingredients. They feel weightless on my eyes and don’t feel like anything is weighing them down like some do, despite the thick lash band and they sit on my SMALL eyes really comfortably (hurray!). They’re made well enough so that they can be used on those with larger eyes too but for most people you will have to slightly trim the lashes too (make sure you trim from the outer corner first). I do find myself using a different brand lash adhesive though as I personally get on much better using the same glue that I’m used to.

The best thing about this is that they’re REUSABLE, I’ve lost count how many times I’ve genuinely re-used these false eyelashes. Some, I’ve worn more than six times. SIX TIMES. Anybody that’s considering purchasing these eyelashes will definitely get their pennies worth if they are used, worn and looked after correctly. After around 3 uses I tend to soak the lashes in warm soapy water and gently brush off the glue and mascara so I can carry on getting plenty of use out of them.

If you’re interested in seeing how I apply these lashes please let me know in the comments below as I would love to do an individual post on a step-by-step application process.

You can purchase these lashes in your local SuperDrug stores or online here.

Lots of Love, Debra-Bow xxx
