FOR HER: VALENTINES DAY GIFT GUIDE UNDER £50*

Valentines Day is quickly approaching and if you’re anything like me and attempting to have a slightly more organised life this year than the last, then you’ll already be wracking your brains on what to buy your loved one this Valentines. Flowers, fragrances, candles, food and more… Is there something better out there than the typical gift? Probably. But once again, if you’re anything like me then you probably like the typical Valentines Day gifts too. Perhaps a little change up to the usual though? So with that being said, I’ve somehow managed to rope together a selection of my top picks for H E R this Valentines Day to help you along with the present search.

Before we get into the gifts that I’ve chosen for my gift guide this year, I wanted to talk about the famous day. Some people are totally against it, some people are all for it, and others just… well, they just wing it. Although I’ve been lucky to have had somebody to call my Valentine for over four years, it’s not always been as straight forward as that. I’ve touched on the subject briefly on my blog a few times but my boyfriend, Jonny (*heart eye emojis*) – is in the navy. With a job like that means distance, working away for long periods of the time and the best *worst* bit? Missing special occasions. Birthdays, Christmas, Valentines Day and anniversaries, you name it, he’s missed it all. I’ve still woken up to a bunch of flowers on my door step every Valentines Day that Jonny’s been away, even if they’ve been ordered from the middle of the ocean. But, because of the distance and the package requirements its often awkward to send one back.

I’ve always been surrounded by the most supportive friends during Jonny’s deployments, especially when they cross over special occasions and with the right bunch of girl friends, you never truly miss valentines day. Pamper nights, meals out and any other plans that will distract me away from not having my boyfriend around whilst theres loved up couples everywhere is what my friends do for me – so why should Valentines Day be just for your other half? Gifts shouldn’t stop there… Valentines Day is a day for recognising and treating the significant people in your life – that to me can range from my boyfriend, to my best friend and even my family. So, with that being said, the gifts listed below aren’t strictly suggestions for your girlfriend – more of an all rounder, think: your friends, a family member you appreciate, that kinda’ thing. Keep your eyes peeled for my gift guide for him and a Valentines finale shortly afterwards.

There’s definitely some traditional gifts in there, such as the fragrance and flowers but some of the others are also fantastic gifts (in my own opinion) to impress your loved one this year, I would be more than happy receiving any of these gifts, as would a lot of people I know. There is clearly one or two items you would only specifically buy for your significant other but those aside, anybody you gift these items to would be happy. I’m 100% going to be in a ‘treat yo’ self‘ mood after publishing this post so I can have it all too… must. hold. back. Don’t forget that if you’d like to shop anything from this post, each listed item is clickable and will direct you straight to the website to buy. I would love to know if you choose any of the gifts listed above for your loved ones this Valentines Day.

Lots of Love, Debra-Bow xxx
